Erythrophyllum delessaroides with Twiss. The rosy red Erythrophyllum, a treasure to find in the intertidal zone of the Pacific coast is layered onto the published master’s thesis of Wilfred Twiss. UC Berkeley was a pioneer in the number of women scientists that came through their undergraduate and graduate programs, and this publication was found in the papers of Robert F. Scagel upon his retirement from UBC.
