This gallery features portfolios of Josie’s most recent work. Algal Dreams: New on Old is a new series of images to be exhibited in conjunction with the release of Josie’s most recent book: A Curious World of Seaweed. This series integrates contemporary scans onto historical lithographs, creating a visual vector from past to present and into an uncertain future. Another more recent portfolio is titled Seaweed Abstractions: seaweed or kelp elements are used as organic shapes with which to layer and build. The older portfolio from the book An Ocean Garden is titled Intertidal Heroes: Seaweed Portraits. All images are available for digital or print licensing.
